Ř Manage, implement and maintain processes and procedures to ensure compliance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), the Regulatory Quality System (RQS), and ISO 9001. Ř Ensure that plant meets all product regulatory requirements and maintains a quality system up to the GMP/RQS/ISO standards. Lead efforts to maintain the ISO 9001 certification. Ř Manage internal corporate Quality, Regulatory audit, as well as ISO Certification Audits. Manage and control FDA/NQA inspections and manage follow up required based on results. Implement any needed corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs). Maintain records of FDA/NQA inspections and related correspondence. |

· Arrange and conduct training related to compliance with GMPs and RQS. Maintain records documenting the training. Assure that plant production paperwork formats and distribution reports are in compliance with GMP/RQS requirements.
· Tested a training database in 2008 to determine training compliance, which at year end was 73%.
· Manage and control the stability testing of FDA products to insure expiration dating is correct and has appropriate supporting documentation as required by FDA.
· Approve and manage regulated label inventory for FDA regulated products.
· Support and act as a backup to Quality Manager. Work closely with Production and Planning to ensure correct run size records are created and issued. Work with Purchasing to make sure the plant receives the current raw materials and packaging components.
· Act as Infinity Plant Administrator and work with Production, Quality, and Corporate to create an understanding of SPC. Trained associates on the newly implemented InfinityQS on Line 325. Analyze performance metrics, and drive material loss which in 2008 was under $14,000.
· Reviewed and updated over 200 procedures. In 2008 completed twelve internal audits and reported them in CATSWeb. Successfully completed NQA, and FDA audits.

· Identified several automatic packing systems and submitted report to senior management indicating a reduction of employee repetitive motion injuries, elimination of one packing person, and an annual savings of $72,000.
· Managed $194,800 capital project to install a new pH wastewater treatment system.
· Conducted a feasibility study on robotic palletizing systems for a biscuit warehouse in Ohio. Talked with operators and plant management across departments. Researched several work cells. Created AutoCAD layouts. Recommended implementation that would reassign six people from the packaging area and result in an annual savings of $348,000.
