Economic Case for Quality Outreach Project
This year Section 0905 begins a new program as part of the society wide outreach on the Economic Case for Quality. The objective of the program is to attain an executive level increase in commitment toward quality practices. The increased commitment will be sought through dialog and education about the relationship of quality to a businesses financial performance. Information to be compiled and shared will include published research reports and business case studies. Reference materials and society program information is available on the ASQ website.
Cathy Voors, Gary Green, and Steve Shoda have teamed up here to launch the program. Our 2005-06 goals are to organize and prepare a basic executive presentation, develop an effective communication plan, and meet with area executives. In addition, an organization may be interested in telling their success story by developing their case study with us.
We are very excited about adding a new program in section 0905. As you can tell, there is a lot to do and the results will be much greater with more volunteers. If you are interested in learning more about the program, please contact Cathy, Gary, or Steve anytime.
