Presenter:  Shawn Capser

Shawn Capser is a Technical Specialist in Reliability Methods for AVL Powertrain Engineering, Inc headquartered in Plymouth, Michigan.  Prior to joining AVL, Shawn held the position of Six Sigma Corporate Master Black Belt for Visteon Automotive.  Shawn is a Senior Member of ASQ, as well as a Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) and a Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE).  His Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification is through the International Quality Federation (IQF).  He holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toledo, and a Master of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Michigan – Dearborn.
